A bonsai exhibition is an exciting event for any bonsai enthusiast. Bonsai are miniature trees that are grown in pots. While they require more care than full-size counterparts, they can live a long time and be beautiful.
The 4th US National Bonsai Exhibition will be held in Rochester, New York from September 13-14, 2014. Over 125 species of bonsai will be featured at the exhibition, including trees from leading botanical gardens and bonsai clubs across the United States and Canada.
This is the largest US national bonsai exhibition of the year. Several sponsors have joined the effort to create a successful show. Some of the top vendors and judges will participate in the event.
It will be a great opportunity to view the best bonsai in the world. Attendees can enter their own trees in the show. An award-winning bonsai artist, Mark Arpag, will be the keynote speaker.
In addition to formal displays, the exhibition will also feature several bonsai demonstrations. Participants can take a guided tour of the exhibition and have the opportunity to get free bonsai consultations.
Members of the Nebraska Bonsai Society will also be on hand to answer questions. The Society promotes camaraderie and the art of bonsai. They encourage members to exhibit bonsai in all stages of development.
Bonsai enthusiasts will also be able to attend a bonsai swap meet. Nine vendors will sell pre-bonsai and tools for sale. Down To Earth Living will host the event.
