Yama Ki Bonsai Review

Bonsai is about balance and beauty. Two important areas to focus on are the roots and the trunk. But the branches, or eda as they are called in Japanese, should also be considered when designing a tree. There are three main branches, or eda: ke-eda that balances the first branch to prevent it from falling, kuitsuki-eda to make the tree more attractive and give depth to the front of the tree, and ushiro-eda that can be seen from the back of the tree and adds depth to it as well.
