Bonsai, Training Stock, Trident Maple, Exposed Roots, Curvy, Tapered Trunk.

Hi, I am offering this Trident Maple, Acer buergeriannum, bonsai stock plant. Plant will ship bare rooted packed with sphagnum moss to keep the roots moist. Once the package is received by the carrier the transit time is completely out of my control. I am offering two shipping methods; please choose the one that best meets your needs. This individual has a nice, curvy and tapered trunk. I wish I had a hundred more of these but it’s my only one. The trunk is in the neighborhood of 1.75″ to 2″ in diameter at the base. There are a couple of wounds; gouge them out a little more this summer, seal with cut paste and they will close within a couple growing seasons with vigorous growth. There are many branches available to be used for making the primary limbs and apex. New shoots will sprout from the trunk that can be used to further develop primary branches.Twigs are quite flexible and easy to wire and bend. The tree is six or seven years old.
