The application’s developers claimed the BonziBUDDY offered useful features, including syncing POP3 email, reading messages, and passing web site addresses and search terms to the browser. However, many users were dissatisfied with the application’s functionality, and the product was discontinued by the end of 2008.
To remove BonziBuddy from the Mac OS, follow the steps listed below. First, log in to your Mac and open the Applications folder. Then, navigate to /Library/Application Support. Then, follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the removal. After that, click Yes. The BonziBuddy program will then be removed from your Mac. Once you’ve removed it, follow the steps above to secure your computer from the harmful effects of this program.
Another popular version of BonziBuddy was the “Peedy” character, which was also available for Microsoft Agent users. This software was designed to assist visually impaired people in their daily lives by playing games and sharing jokes with them. The program also had other features, including the ability to play songs. However, the company decided to remove the program from the market in 2004, due to lawsuits and fine payments resulting from the COPPA suit.
